Parish websites
The diocese launched the Service Communication Project in 2005, to examine the communication infrastructure of the Diocese, consult with parishes, and make recommendations to improve information flow at all levels.

Global Communication One outcome of this has been the development of a hosting platform, which allows each parish to have an autonomous website, with full support from the diocese.

The diocese has also purchased domain names for every parish in the diocese, using the format "suburbcatholic.org.nz".

If your parish is ready to establish an online presence, please use the form to the right to contact us.

The platform is also available to non-diocesan catholic groups (eg. parish youth groups), who can make an enquiry through the Spoke Project website, and also see some of the existing Spoke sites, at www.spoke.net.nz.
