This Marriage Preparation Programme, which is offered by the Catholic Church, accept as normative the teachings of Jesus Christ on Marriage, and see the state of Matrimony as a life-long bond between a man and a woman intended by God to support them in their love for each other and in their love for children of their union.
Genesis 1: 27-28
