Young People, You Are the Church

Theme for 2017

The Auckland Diocesan theme for 2017 is ‘Young People, You Are the Church of Today’.

Throughout the year we will publish seven resources that speak to mission, discipleship, community, communication, leadership and vocation.  The resources will begin our preparations the the Youth Synod in October 2018 and link to our pastoral plan Fit for Mission.    The first three resources are published below.   The fourth resource on community will be published mid-February.  Further resources are being developed on Leadership, Communication and Vocation.

The plan is that the Vocations resource will be released in July/August to coincide with a vocations event on 20 August.   We anticipate that some of the sessions will be stand-alone or the resources can be used in sequence.

If your parish, group or region would like a complimentary introduction to these resources (or a train the trainer style session where your leaders are introduced to these resources) please contact Teresa in the ACYM office (teresam@cda.org.nz or phone 360 3021/021 649 012).
