The Catholic Diocese of Auckland is pleased to announce the establishment of a series of lunch meetings called ‘The Bishop’s Lunch’, the first of which will be held on Monday 2 December at the Northern Club in Auckland’s CBD.
This is the first of a networking series aimed at highlighting significant matters which have an impact on our society, our families and our communities.
We are honoured to have an outstanding guest speaker for this inaugural lunch meeting – the esteemed John McCarthy QC – former Ambassador to the Holy See for Australia, and the Chair of the Anti-slavery Task Force, Australia. This is the United Nations Day for the Abolition of Slavery and he will speak on the eradication of modern slavery and human trafficking.
Monday 2 December, 12.00pm – 2.00pm
Northern Club, 19 Princes Street, Auckland CBD
