A formation day specifically set apart for all the leaders of the ethnic faith communities of the Catholic Diocese of Auckland, and on behalf of Bishop Patrick Dunn, the Bishop of Auckland, we would like to invite leaders to this Formation Day.
This day is organised for you if you are, within your faith community:
- An office bearer
- Youth leader/s
- Liturgy and sacramental coordinators
- Pastoral workers
- Eucharistic Ministers
- Prison Ministry and care giver persons
- Pastoral Council
- A representative of your faith community to other affiliations that you might have.
It will be a day of Meet and Greet, so that we can meet you and the various leaders of your communities, and also so that you and your leaders can meet us. We are here to support you in the roles that you play within your communities, thereby fulfilling the goals and objectives of not only your community and the Diocese, and also the Church. We hope this gathering will enable us to engage better as we have several events happening in the new year, hoping that your community can participate, support each other, to become “fruitful and be filled” people of God, creating a sense of mission within the Church. Each and every one of us have been tasked by Christ, through the Church, to “Go forth, Baptise, Teach, and Make disciples.”
Registration is essential. See the poster for more details. Send us your details by email to [email protected]
