Be Refreshed - Day Retreat 2025
Be Refreshed is a Retreat Day for all volunteers, catechists and those who serve in anyway in their parish. The day will have some teaching, some prayer and some relaxation to revitalise and and refill after your efforts in serving the church. You may choose either day to suit your itinerary but North is for those in the Northern parts of the diocese, and South is for those in the southern parts of the diocese.

Terms & Conditions
Be Refreshed - Day retreat North or South is available for those all catechists and volunteers in parishes who wish to attend. In this regard the following applies:
Age: While there is not an upper age limit, this would most suit those aged 20 to 75
Travel: Travel to Holy Name Parish from the Harbour Bridge is approx 45 minutes. Travel to Pompallier Centre south of the Harbour Bridge from Pukekohe is approx 45 minutes. Times are examples and indicative only
Costs: Attendance cost is $25 per person
Safeguarding: The diocese has a comprehensive safeguarding policy. This should be understood and adhered to for the duration of the retreat Day.
Health and Safety: All aspects of health and Safety, risk assessment and due diligence are responsibility of the individual attending.
Indemnity: While the diocese is excited to offer this opportunity, it can not accept any responsibility for loss, damage or hurt cause in the duration of the pilgrimage for any instances outside its direct control. All participants should carry adequate indemnity and insurances personally and/or for the group, in the unlikely event that hurt, damage or loss occurs during the pilgrimage.
