Te Kawe Ritenga Tapu – To Carry the Sacred Rituals
Weaving together Liturgy and Life – Conference 2020 – https://wuss.org.nz/
To resource and energize our faith communities
to participate fully, consciously and actively in the Liturgy
and so take up Christ’s Mission.
The Church calls us to gather each Sunday, The Lord’s Day, and participate together in the celebration of the Eucharist. At the current time, and in the interest of public health, it is important to avoid large gatherings of people, which includes Sunday Eucharist. For this reason, we list websites below, where Sunday Eucharist can fruitfully be listened to and watched. The Church calls us to gather together each Sunday, therefore, watching Mass online is not ideal and is offered only as an interim measure while public health issues persist. We encourage you to once again gather with your faith community as soon as it is considered healthy to do so. Scroll down further and you will find an outline for a Liturgy of the Word with a small group of people, and sites where daily readings can be found.

Celebrating the Word at Home
Guideline for when you cannot receive the sacraments at home NZCBC When you cannot receive the Sacraments 27 March
You might like to celebrate a simple Liturgy of the Word at home. If you do, set a time and prepare a place; candle, statue, image, flowers. You might also like to dress in you Sunday best. Begin with a few minutes of silence. You could follow this outline for a Celebration of the Word at home with a small number of people Praying the Word at Home

The Liturgy Centre was established by Bishop Delargey, to provide a permanent vessel to carry the living rituals of the Catholic Church into the future of the Diocese of Auckland, New Zealand. This mission is reflected in our Maori name Te Kawe Ritenga Tapu – To carry the sacred rituals. Based at Pompallier Diocesan Centre, Liturgy Centre staff work with Bishop Dunn and other liturgical experts throughout Auckland to provide formation, information and resources on the public worship of the Church. The Liturgy Centre provides formation, information and resources for parishes, schools and communities to enable full, conscious and active participation in the public worship of the Church.
