If you have not yet registered please do so today so that we do not miss you.

Level 2 Marriage Celebrations
Marriages are allowed in our parish churches with no more than 10 people present. There is no provision for a nuptial Mass.
- Marriage without a Mass is a valid Catholic wedding. It is a sacrament because the bride and groom are both baptized.
The couple, priest/ deacon, and two witnesses are required for a valid Catholic marriage. The priest/deacon is the official Church witness to their sacramental action. There may be up to five additional people present.
It is important to note that the churches used for weddings are cleaned appropriately. This may incur a cost to the couple. Please discuss this with the parish priest where you are going to get married.
Attendees at the wedding must observe Ministry of Health guidelines which amongst other guidelines say no food or drink is to be shared as a part of the celebration. We strongly recommend that the engaged couple read these guidelines before they go forward with their wedding plans so that they are clear about the Ministry of Health guidelines
