Credit Controller & Administration
We are seeking an individual with sound credit control skills to undertake this full-time role within the Diocesan Centre Finance team, located at St Marys Bay, Auckland.
The position is to provide credit control and administration support to the Revenue Manager for the collection of attendance dues for schools in the Catholic Diocese of Auckland.
Key Tasks include:
- Collection of compulsory school attendance dues
- Contact with school parents via outbound phone calls
- Follow up of unpaid accounts
- Debtor ledger management
Applicants should have previous credit control experience, good organisational skills with strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills and be a team player with integrity and dependability.
The ability to speak Samoan and or Tongan would be advantageous, but not essential.
Empathy with and commitment to upholding the values of the Catholic Church would be an advantage.

Parish Education-in-Faith Facilitator
The Pastoral Services Group of the Catholic Diocese of Auckland is seeking an additional full time member for its Faith Formation team to renew and promote programs for Education in Faith (EIF) and Catholic formation of older children.
The person we seek will likely have training as a teacher, and be familiar with Catholic teaching. The person will have a good understanding of the sacraments, liturgy and the bible and be able to communicate well with and walk beside older children and young people.
Among other skills needed will be:
- A welcoming, friendly attitude to all
- A high standard of IT/computer skills, including current audio / video and social media platforms.
- Good time management skills
- Approachable and adaptable
- Well-presented and professional
- Degree in Religious Education or Theology or Teaching

We are seeking to employ a committed Catholic to work as a member of the Auckland Tertiary Chaplaincy Team which provides services to students at Auckland University and other Tertiary Institutes. The position is a permanent full time position for 10.5 months per year. The focus of the chaplaincy team is to develop a vibrant young adult Catholic ministry providing spiritual and pastoral care through peer support. This ministry endeavours to provide ongoing faith development and involvement in the Catholic Church for students at tertiary institutions. An ability and interest in promotion and outreach, faith formation and use of social media would be an advantage.
