MANAGER CATHOLIC CARING FOUNDATION
The Catholic Caring Foundation is a small fund raising and philanthropic organisation established almost 30 years ago by the Catholic Bishop of Auckland. Its function is to support the delivery of services to people in need who live within the Catholic diocese of Auckland. A registered charity, the Foundation reports to the Bishop via its own board and in accordance with the administrative processes of the Diocese.
The Board invites applicants to the part-time position of Manager. Reporting to the board and to the general manager of the Diocese, you will have responsibility for leading, managing and promoting the Foundation.
This role requires a collaborative and influencing style to work with internal teams, the Board and a wide range of external stakeholders including schools, parishes and community groups. You will have a consultative and empathic approach, make effective decisions and can balance priorities to meet the Foundation’s goals. The role is 25 hours per week for a fixed term of twelve months.
The role will interest experienced charity service managers returning to the work force and interested in working into a larger role or experienced managers nearing the end of their career and wishing to “give back”.

Social Worker – Catholic Social Services
Catholic Social Services is a faith-based professional service providing social work, counselling, out-reach and support to individual people and families. It has offices in Ponsonby and Otara.
Catholic Social Services has a vacancy for a full-time Social Worker to join its mobile Social Work team, based in Auckland, and covering the wider Auckland/South Auckland Communities.
The key function of the position is to assist families and individuals in difficulty and at risk by the provision of generic social services, responding to allocated referrals to the agency including family harm referrals from Oranga Tamariki and the Police. Networking and collaboration both within the team and the community is an important requirement.
